  QE and European Corporate Bonds
Milan, 10 March - Hotel de la Ville - 12 pm

With the QE steamroller of the ECB shoving a wall of money into EU government bonds, covered bonds and ABS, investors are being pushed up the risk curve. The crowding out at the lowest end of the risk spectrum increases allocation to the next segment: euro investment grade credits. Does this mean the asset class no longer offers reasonable opportunities to make money? Does the low yield on European high quality corporate bonds imply investors should shy away from this space altogether? Rik den Hartog, CFA of Kempen Capital Management will explain how a close look at the market does reveal some interesting opportunities for sophisticated investors, which can be exploited by active managers using the right tools.
