Preparation

The course of study is determined by the Candidate Body of Knowledge which is grounded in practice.

CFA Institute believes that cadidates need to commit a minimum of 300 hours reading and review the curriculum and taking sample exams to master the material. This recommendation, however, may substantially underestimate the hours needed for appropriate exam preparation depending on individual circumstances and academic background.

All relevant information for candidates is presented in a special section of the CFA Institute website: the CFA Program Course of Study

This is your online preparation resource where you can find information on the Curriculum, Learning Outcome Statements, online sample exams etc.
