CFA Institute and Italian CFA Society Membership

Regular and Affiliate Membership

CFA Institute membership provides the knowledge, recognition, and industry network that you need to position yourself for career growth. Membership in the Italian CFA Society offers you access to services and networking on a local level.

CFA Institute and the Italian CFA Society offer Regular and Affiliate membership categories.

Regular Membership
An applicant seeking Regular Membership in CFA Institute and in the Italian CFA Society must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or have equivalent education or work experience;
- Have attained 48 months of Acceptable Professional Work Experience;
- Have passed Level I of the CFA® Program or other such appropriate examination approved by the CFA Institute Board of Governors, or have passed the Self-Administered Standards of Practice Examination;
- Sign and submit to CFA Institute a Member’s Agreement and a Professional Conduct Statement; and
- Complete any additional application procedures or requirements established by CFA Institute.

Affiliate Membership
An applicant seeking Affiliate Membership in CFA Institute shall:
- Be an individual who the Italian CFA Society has accepted as an Affiliate Member and whose membership in such Member Society has not been revoked or suspended;
- Sign and submit to CFA Institute a Member’s Agreement and a Professional Conduct Statement; and
- Complete any additional application procedures or requirements established by CFA Institute and, when applicable, the appropriate Member Society.

Membership Dues Schedule

Initial CFA Institute and Italian CFA Society dues are billed and collected from July 1– June 30, according to the schedule below.
Dues are billed annually thereafter at rates of
225 USD, CFA Institute Membership
100 USD, Italian CFA Society Membership

Period of CFA Charterholder, Regular, Initial Membership and Affiliate Members:
1 July – 31 December 225 USD + 100 USD
1 January – 31 March 113 USD + 50 USD
1 April – 30 June 0

Junior Membership

An applicant seeking Junior Membership in Italian CFA Society must meet the following criteria: be a CFA Program Candidate having completed the CFA Exam Enrollment and Registration procedure with CFA Institute in the previous 36 months
