Commitees

The ICFAS Board is supported by a number of committees, as shown below. Members are invited to join a committee at any time during their membership.
Together, committee members plan programs and social events, exchange ideas, and circulate employment opportunities.

Advocacy

The Committee coordinates corporate governance efforts.

Education Chair

The Education Committee coordinates CFA Prep Courses, Mock Exam and study groups.

Membership

The Membership Committee reviews and approves all prospective member applications, membership policies and bylaws, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors as to guidelines for membership. The committee assists in developing and evaluating member benefits and looking for new recruitment methods for membership.

Program

The Programming Committee it is held once a month to coordinate the programming activity. It is composed by the program chair, three board members responsible for Milan, Rome and the Lugano area, and open to any volunteer.

Public Awareness

The Public Awareness Committee supports activities to raise the awareness of the society, its members and the CFA Program that span from media relations to contacts with employers, regulators, universities and other associations. Usually, the committee meets once a month.

Scholarship

CFA Scholarship Award Committee, it is held one a year to award 10 scholarships every year. It is composed by three Board Members and two University Professors.

The Committee is responsible for maintaining society web site and all computer operations.

Maintains communication between Universities, students and the investment community.
