CFA Scholarships

CFA Society Italy Access Scholarships

Access Scholarships provide needs-based scholarships to enroll in the CFA Program.

Award
The scholarship covers the one-time CFA Program enrollment fee (if applicable) and reduces the exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US$250.

Eligibility
Applicants must meet all CFA Program enrollment requirements. Review the requirements.
Award Cycle
Access scholarships are awarded on or before 1 December to be applied to exams in the following year. If awarded, the recipient can apply the scholarship to the
June exam (Levels I, II, and III) or
December exam (Level I only)

Important Dates
Application for next year exams (i.e. scholarship application in 2017 for the CFA exam sections in 2018).
Last date to submit the application to CFA Institute: 15 September.
Last date to submit application to CFA Society Italy: 30 September.

Please note: you must wait until the scholarship notifications by CFA Institute occur in December before you register for the applicable exam, or you will be ineligible for the scholarship and your application will be voided.

How to Complete the Access Scholarship Application

Step 1 – Apply on the CFA Institute website: click here

Step 2 – Follow instructions from CFA Society Italy according to your candidate level:

If you have applied for CFA Access Schoarship for Level 1, you are required to:
a) fill in all required fields in the CFA Society Italy Access Scholarship Application Form click here
b) starting from 20 August write to communicating you have completed it. In the first days of September you will receive name and email address of a Society Leader you will have to contact for a brief interview.
c) Wait for confirmation from CFA Society Italy that the process has been completed.

If you have applied for CFA Access Scholarship for Level 2 or 3, you are required to:
a) fill in all required fields in the CFA Society Italy Access Scholarship Application Form click here
b) starting from 20 August write to communicating you have completed it. In the first days of September you will receive name and email address of a Society Leader you will have to contact for a brief interview.
c) Wait for confirmation from CFA Society Italy that the process has been completed.

For applicants to Level 2 and Level 3 Scholarships being an active volunteer and/or being Junior/Affiliate/Regular Member of CFA Society Italy in good standing is a plus.
